Radius Internal Fixation

2.4 mm LPS Volar Distal Radius Plates features multiple screw options in the head, allowing for angular stable fixation of extra- and intra-articular distal radius fractures.

Benefits

  1. Variety of plate choices to best suit patient's anatomical needs.

  2. Low plate and screw profile minimizes potential for tendon and soft tissue irritation.

  3. Combi holes in plate shaft allow locking screw fixatoin with angular stability in the threaded section, or compression with cortex screws.

  4. Anatomically precontoured plates for the radial and intermediate column reduce the need for bending.

  5. Low-profile dorsal distal radius plates intended for the double-plate technique.

  6. Double columns allow visualization of the fracture and independent fine contouring of the radial and intermediate columns.

  7. Specific screw holes for fixation of radial styloid and support of the lunate facet and distal radio-ulnar joint.

  8. Anatomic shape fits close to the volar ridge with rounded edges to minimize soft tissue irritation.

  9. Kirschner wire holes enable preliminary plate fixation and indicate screw orientation when using guide blocks.

Indication

The 2.4 mm LPS Plates are indicated for fixation of complex intra- and extra-articular fractures and osteotomies of the distal radius and other small bones in adults, skeletally mature adolescents, and the following adolescent distal radius fractures:
